MC Mauser Gallery is the work of a Mauser collector, and he has published his rifles and articles at mcmauser.com. It is a reference for a lifelong passion for collecting, and a showcase of various examples of military and training rifles. He hopes that other collectors can look at the pictures, read the articles, and learn something — or see another example of the rifle they might have.

The subject is German Mauser military rifles: the Gewehr 98, Kar 98a, Banner K98s, K98k, and the semi-automatics, including the rare G41(M), G41, and G43. His collection includes scarce Weimar and late WW2 pieces, as well as the .22 training rifles (DSM 34, KKW) that taught the same system. The page will touch on postwar contract rifles, including Israeli 7.62 conversions, which are labelled as such.

The emphasis is historical study and responsible collecting. Original finish is preferred to restoration. Matching numbers are recorded, not invented.

Specimens, photographs, rifle categories, and articles are added to the catalogue over time. Emails and questions are welcome. The catalogue is unsigned; the work is the reference, not a biography.
